Science is a wonderful for it allows human beings to find out ways to bring new innovations.
Now, a Japanese company called Mebiol has developed a thin film called Imec (made from hydro-membranes), which is a special film just tens of microns thick.
We think this is a wonder development as it could lead to new ways of producing cleaner foods.
The best part is this technology, according to developers, can be employed in places where there is soil contamination and other areas where land is not suitable for cultivation.
The company said it will begin marketing this hydro-membranes in August, 2011. However, the price has not been revealed.
