The news of Steve Jobs’ death at the age of 56 has brought out many innate feelings as to how man should spend his life and how long. We have seen many great men who died as young as 21 but these days dying at the age of 56 is something many of us can never think of. With all the health care and the technology that comes with it, humans we are and we think we will live to see another day.
The announcement by Apple Inc that Steve, the co-founder of one of the biggest technology firm in the world, passed away at Palo Alto in California, have evoked sad feelings all around. The iPods, iPhones and the iPads he gave to the world will surely be remembered on this very unfortunate day.
It was natural for the rather shy and his competitors Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to even pour out their condolences. These men are in the same league and they know he was good and gifted! So, they feel the pain and anguish.
Steve had had stepped down as chief executive of Apple few months back and we agree with Apple when they say: “Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve."
