LG-Optimus-L5 review LG Optimus L5 E610 is the mid-range handset in the popular L series and it creates the welcome transition to Android 4.0 ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich). This LG handset also features a 4-inch capacitive HVGA multi-touch display, offering enhanced legibility which should sign to a reasonable display quality. Checkout L5 features, design, hardware and other useful information in below paragraphs.

The front portion of L5 is taken up by its large 4-inch display screen. Optimus L5 is made of plastic that has a nice framework pattern that you'll probably like or hate. The plastic doesn't feel low-quality or cheap at all and on the frontside of the smart phone you will notice a single hardware button which allows you to move back to the Android home screen. The ICS interface seemed simple and uncomplicated to use. Optimus L5 offers news features like resizing various home screen widgets, which was very commonly noticed in Honeycomb.

Latest Features:

L5 Android smart phone comes with LG's latest user experience with Quick Memo that allows mobile users the ability to instantly send notes or memos from your mobile screen itself without having to open a separate app for it. You can download various useful applications at LG Smart-world App. Also, you can easily exchange your best shots instantly on popular social networking sites using this latest LG smart phone. LG Optimus L5 comes with FM Radio, Bluetooth v3.0, USB, A-GPS Navigation, Wi-Fi, 5 MP camera, NFC and Accelerometer.

Optimus L5 E610 is using Qualcomm MSM7225A processor with 800MHz single core A5 Cortex chip, a 512MB of decent RAM, 4GB internal storage memory that can be very easily expandable through microSD card slot for up to 32GB. Has a reasonable 5MP camera with auto-focus LED flash on the back. L5 E610 also comes with Optimus 3.0 user interface which gives contemporary looks to the handset. LG E610 just weights 122 grams and it's elegant smooth design can compete quickly with any other mid-range handset.

Supports NFC.

Charming and stylish looks.

Comes at cheap budget tag.

Has latest Android ICS OS.

Supports low pixel density of 144 ppi.

Underpowered chip that doesn't support fast swiping.

LG Optimus L5 E610 lives up to the high user expectations looking fashionable and the addition of latest ICS is a great aspect that's sure to lure few budget buyers. Some fear that its low-powered processor won't deliver the most pleasant performances. Swiping through the menus and home screens was mostly nippy at times. Apart from that its a decent handset with rich features and specifications available at a budget price.
